Hi, I’m Jacquie, an End-of-Life Planner

My interest in death work began with a deep spiritual curiosity about life itself. I have come to believe, as the old adage suggests, that life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be experienced. This understanding ignited a passion to help others embrace the fullness of their lives, especially as they consider their end-of-life journey.

My professional background includes certification in program management, which has honed my skills in organization, attention to detail, and documentation—qualities that are invaluable in end-of-life planning. Additionally, my experience teaching pranayama (breathing or life force practices rooted in yogic lineage), yoga, and mindfulness meditation has provided me with a profound appreciation for the preciousness of this human life.

Through Breath and Death, I bring these two complementary skill sets together. As the name suggests, my goal is to empower you to plan for the end of your life - death - with clarity and intention, ultimately enabling you to live more fully in the present moment - breath by breath.

I have completed my death doula training with Alua Arthur and her team at Going With Grace, am a proud member of the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA), and NEDA Proficient (I passed their end of life doula proficiency test).
